Fr. J. Anthony Kluckman, SCJ, is a member of the Priests of the Sacred Heart, headquartered in Hales Corners, WI. He attended Divine Heart Seminary in Donaldson, IN for his high school, made his novitiate year at Ste. Marie, IL, took first vows on September 8, 1966 and then attended Kilroe Seminary in Honesdale, PA for college. He finished his theology training at Sacred Heart Monastery in Hales Corners, WI and was ordained to the priesthood on September 1, 1973.
Fr. Kluckman is the oldest of 8 children. His father was in the Marine Corps for over thirty years which necessitated a lot of moving. That sense of service witnessed by his father and the mobility the family experienced helped.
Fr. Kluckman develop a willingness to serve wherever needed. He has served his religious community in vocation work; pastoral ministry in Texas, California and South Dakota; and assisting retired SCJ priests and Brothers in Wisconsin and Florida. He currently is on his second tour as Chaplain at St. Joseph’s Indian School in Chamberlain, SD.
