The family violence shelter consists of 10 bedrooms that have their own full bathroom and built in storage for personal belongings. There are eight (8) bedrooms for women and their minor dependents in the main shelter area. The main shelter area also provides a common living room, dining room, kitchen, indoor children’s play area, and outdoor fenced play/lounge area. The shelter also has a laundry room with two sets of washer and dryer units and a communal handicapped accessible bathroom. The shelter also offers a small two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment for men or families with older teens that includes laundry, kitchen, and communal living room space.

Our program provides services to women, men, and their dependents of all ages seeking emergency shelter due to physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse. All individuals have access to individual and group therapy services, resources, and advocacy services for individuals currently experiencing physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse. The shelter provides a safe and violence free environment for individuals and their minor dependents to stay in while exploring available resources that positively influence the family unit’s future.
