Audrey Traversie has had a career of nearly 39 years with The State Bank of Eagle Butte and currently serves as a Loan Officer and Insurance Agent with the bank. Before this experience, Audrey worked with IHS for over 7 years.
Except for school, Audrey has lived her entire life on the Cheyenne River Reservation. She graduated from Cheyenne-Eagle Butte HS in 1965.
Audrey, and her late husband Calvin, were married for 53 years and raised three daughters. She continues to be blessed with a growing family, which includes 11 beautiful grandchildren; one of whom is at the formation house in LaCrosse, WI, and wants to continue into the Priesthood.
Audrey has been a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s church at Ridgeview. In 1955, while preparing for her first communion, she had the opportunity to attend summer religious education at St. Joseph’s in Chamberlain.
Audrey is happy to serve as a Sacred Heart Center board member and current Treasurer. She is appreciative of the service provided by SHC to our reservation residents.
